When are the quad core beasties due to come out? I was going to renew early for the nexus however rumours of the new quad core htc have me floundering a tad.

Might have to, I'm hoping T9 HAS made its way in also. I'm not hopeful
TouchWiz is ugly in general IMO, But the dialer is the one thing where I think vanilla android is lacking
This will always be the situation. You can't wait for things, just buy what you like.

Snap. Or Go Dialer. Just seems a shame to have vanilla Android and 3rd Party apps doing the work. Really? Still NO T9 dialer?

When are the quad core beasties due to come out? I was going to renew early for the nexus however rumours of the new quad core htc have me floundering a tad.
I'm still rocking dual core on my PC when quad core has been around for years, simply don't need it and I'm by no means a light user.
Don't really see the need for quad core in mobiles just yet, sure some games will run better but I rarely play demanding games on my phone.
Assuming they have it in stock it is next day delivery.
The only issue is if it comes into stock too late in the afternoon on the 17th to make the next day delivery as happened with my Evo 3D but it did arrive the day after.
I fully intend to re pre-order tomorrow afternoon a galaxy nexus.

spinstorm likes wasting money, so erm, send it this way!
It's an expensive hobby. I think I'll end up getting the new Nexus and Galaxy phones each year, already have done so far with the Nexus S and SII! I'll get the Nexus as a software showcase and the galaxy a hardware one.
