**** The Official Google Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL Thread ****

Ah well, worth a go! Is that a cpw t&c because I still don't see that on quidco? Where did you get that extract from?

On the Quidco o2 page, scroll down to "Terms & conditions", and it's there, among a bunch of other exclusions :)
Perhaps because we're so conditioned to not reading T&C's you didn't see them :D

Ah but that's for cashback shopping at O2, the one I am talking about is from CPW, just happens to be on O2 network. The t&c for CPW is very different to O2.

Cash back on phone contracts is a PITA. Mine was refused on my old pixel XL last week. £90 denied still not had a reason. Took 12 months to reach that outcome

Currently using an aging HTC One M7 which is currently on a SIM Only through EE. Longing for an upgrade, the Pixel 2 has won me over from what I've seen, read & heard about it.

Looking around for the best current deal and I'm very tempted to go with this from CPW: -

Is it worth biting the bullet now, or should I hang on a little longer to see if anything better comes along this week? Especially considering it's Black Friday week.

Thoughts and opinions welcome...

Doesn't look a bad deal to me. Decent amount of data, not too much upfront and monthly cost is about the same as I'm paying for my S7 Edge from last year. Most of the contracts I've seen seem to be about a tenner or more a month over and above that. Total cost £982, so you're paying under £15 a month for the service.

That deal looks awesome! CPW don't offer EE max tariffs for upgrades though, only new.
Going for the 128GB is another tenner a month and an extra £50 up front! That 64GB deal is awesome.

Looks like it's all about the standard Pixel 2, too.
If you upped for the Pixel 2 XL, the same tariff is £47.99 per month and £199 up front!
At those prices I'd be tempted to go for the smaller one as it's so much cheaper! £370 cheaper over the course of the contract!
But as I'm an existing customer and I'd like to keep my number, it's no good for me :(

Waiting on a P2XL from EE directly, good bit more per month at £67.99, for 25GB, but I do get discount that they threatened would be removed upon upgrade, but it didn't disappear last upgrade hah. I'll be cancelling the upgrade if it does disappear, and I'll likely get the deal you linked above!

Yeah, certainly appears that the better deals are on the Pixel 2 64GB at the moment. I'm more than happy with the standard Pixel 2, as I find the XL just too large for my liking. I did look at deals on the 128GB, but find them a touch too steep for my liking.

Currently I'm with EE direct and did look to see what the offered, but as you've already pointed out, they're at least £10 per month more.

looks a good deal, i wonder what black friday may bring ?

Will be interesting to see if they do any more similar deals that aren't already listed, obviously this one is already part of their Black Friday offering.

What cases do you guys recommend?

I'm thinking of getting two. The first being the Google Fabric Case in Black and then an alternative/more sturdier one.

I've got a Ringke Fusion in clear, and a Spigen Liquid Crystal, in clear also.
Former is PC back with TPU sides, latter is all TPU.

Be a bit daft to dress a Panda in anything other than clear tbh! Just need the phone!
