Ugh, new one has MUCH worse blue shift than my old oneQUOTE="chanjy, post: 31750109, member: 18305"]They are replacing mine under RMA for the exact same issue
Edit: here's my issue https://youtu.be/jhyjUj9wIDI
How long did that take you? I'm still a little concerned my replacement will show similar issues after 30 days.Got my phone back from cpw. The replaced it.

I see a couple of issues with this. 1) The external (drive i assume?) is probably not in the correct format. If it's windows as you say it's probably NTFS and AFAIK it needs to be exFat for Android. 2) It probably needs a power source which your phone is just not going to provide. 3) I've never tried plugging my phone into computer for file transfer etc but for this I would recommend an app such as Airdroid (possibly better alternatives on the market but that's the one I've used most recently) to allow file transfer over your wifi network which is handier in the long run.How can I get the USB otg cable to work with my windows formatted external? Also I can't seem to get windows 10 to see the files on the phone? Even when selextive file transfer any ideas please?
So, I took my case off it. Day 1, had it on my lap, it decided it didn't want to stay there, fell off onto the floor, hit my table on the way, dented the top of the phone, cracking the protective bit around the screen in the process and scuffing up the display.
Damnit.
Mines literally due to go back any time now (I have an RMA authorised) - do Google accept it if there is any physical damage? I've only been waiting to send it in because I've had telephone interviews galore over the past few weeks and haven't had the time to wait a week to get the replacement.

I had to RMA mine a few weeks back when charging port broke, mine had been dropped and had a few dents and marks as well as scratches
I would not worry. Send it in and enjoy a shiny new one.
Pretty sure Google don't care or check. They get stripped and sold to 3rd party companies who then replace casing and sell as reburbs
You should go for it mate, I came from an iphone X and I absolutely love this phone. Such a great OS and fantastic cameras!! I also stopped paying apple £6.99 a month for 2tb storage for my massive photo collection as I uploaded them to google and am getting the free storage for the photos taken with the pixel for the next couple of years so a good saving there too!!After a lot of deliberation whether to buy one or not sadly I returned my Pixel XL to Google.
I have to say it was a lovely phone in many ways but there was just something I didn't like about it, maybe it was the fact the screen wasn't fully used as on my S8. I really wanted to like it but wasn't happy, well not happy enough to keep it at that price.
To be fair to Google I posted it back on the Tuesday, they received it on the Wednesday and the money was back in my account on Thursday, can't ask for better service than that.
