**** The Official Google Pixel 3 Thread ****

True, but I imagine most would do that via Google drive. All good but what happens when you next restart a pc, don't think to copy your photos as why would you there are on the Google drive so just need that program leave it to run and it'll download them all again but this time the res has been reduced

Found a deal for £35 per month, 15GB data, £75 upfront for the 128GB model for 24 months.

Seems better than any other deal I've seen for a while. As I said I've been out the game for a while and I don't have any spare income to pay much upfront.

Damn, seems that deal is gone so will have to hold out for now.

Has anyone gone from an Iphone x to one of these? How does it compare? I haven't used android since the original Samsung S about 9 years ago!

@Quinnaay have you ?

Should have read back mate, I've just made the switch back to Android having had both the X and XS.

I'm absolutely fine with it, it's really slick, so quick, battery is much of a muchness compared with the X/XS. The Camera however is of course better, you really can tell.

It's taken a bit of time to get used to the latest iteration of Android but I've found it absolutely fine.

Not really missing face ID at all given the placement of the fingerprint scanner on the phone .

I went from a iPhone 7 to s9 then iPhone X and now pixel 3 and can say that I probably keep this for while. Personally the s9 and iPhone X did not feel good in the hand and but the pixel 3 is the perfect size. The software is very iOS like and you get updates fast. The battery life is debatable because everyone uses phone different but usually last the day so it's comparable to the X,I bought one of Google store which I returned because had a slight gap in the frame so bought one cpw online.

Found a good deal so picking up an XL 128GB

Any tips on first things to do when setting up? Been 3 years since I've bought a new phone and that one is stuck on Android 6.1!

Went from all major 2018 android flagships and a pixel 3 XL to a Xs max and enjoying it so far.

Fancied a change and iOS is a breath of fresh air, no niggly Google wake locks or overheating issues and I find google apps works better on iOS than on the pixel.

Undoubtedly the camera on the pixel 3 is the best, but i couldn’t get over the design with that notch and have no decent face unlock to utilise the front 2 cameras.

I think Google/Android have too many manufacturers to cater for and its in a bit of a mess with updates etc

Anyway., will ride this out for a few months and see what happens :)

Other than average battery life I have none of those issues you mentioned above lmfy2k :p.

Though I have the 3 not the XL. I love the size, design and overall polish of the device.

Hehe. Fair enough mate :)

Any more pics from your pixel 3 camera lens ?

Nothing worth posting yet bud. A big problem with add on lenses is you have to have them on you all the time as opposed to already being included on the phone.

I really hope Google add a superwide to the Pixel 4.

So I bit the bullet and got an XL!

Going to pick up a case I think and the official fabric case looks very nice.

Anyone know of a good price?

Also been on Android 6 for a few years so all the settings have moved. How do I change each apps notification sound? I just seen an option to change one default sound for all apps.

Also what's is the "allow notification dot" ?
