**** The Official Google Pixel 3 Thread ****

I'm looking for a really thin case, not a clear one. I would like to go naked with the XL but the thing is just too slippy and sometimes I tend to throw my phone on the desk so I think a case is needed.

Really looking at the official Google fabric case. Anyone have any opinions?

I have the official fabric case on a 3xl (white phone, with the fog case, compliments each other very well). imo it looks and feels great, although judging from workmates reactions, it's not to everyones tastes, but their opinions don't matter. It's a great fit. Not sure how well it will age though, time will tell. I do however feel like I overpaid at £35 or whatever it was.

Doesn't make the phone too bulky does it? That's the only thing that puts me off cases.

How is the fabric case for putting the phone glass down? Is there some protection on the front to make 'flip to shh' safe to use.

I wrote this about the official fabric case a little while back :)

My case arrived today, very pleased with it

The lining inside is nice, the fit on the phone is excellent without adding too much bulk, it's stopped the phone being extreeeeemly slippery in my hand, I had a constant fear of dropping it while it was naked!

The power button colour accent is a nice touch and the volume rocker just fades away almost unseen while still remaining tactile enough.

There is a nice protection lip if you put the phone face down, although it's not very deep compared to other cases on the market. Overall I'm pleased, and although it's not cheap the £10 Spigen case I have for my Pixel XL lasted me for my full 2 year contract so I should imagine this one will too.

Thanks for sharing that! It just looks very grippy which I like and no unnessecary cutouts like you find with some cases.

I have it too and while I prefer the phone naked it doesn't add a necessarily stupid amount of bulk

Best part is it just feels great in the hand, that's the one thing I really like about it.
