**** The Official Google Pixel 3 Thread ****

Not worried at all. I just think for 90% of users it just isn't necessary. And those who do genuinely need it, will seek out phones with more ram.

I'm very close to pre ordering... Was looking at the fabric case, always used Spigen cases.

Howmdo the fabric cases hold up for dirt and water? I run with my phone in hand quite a bit about subioisnif a fabric cae becoking water logged.

Decided to keep my 2XL for another year maybe, can't get anything better for the £300ish this would bring in. Not like it's turned into a crap phone! :D

Am also looking at one of the cool fabric cases

Someone (a reviewer) put up a picture on Twitter showing it was fraying already, so maybe hold off and get some more feedback on the Pixel 3 cases.

Have any reviews gone live yet? I was under the impression the review embargo's were up today but I've not yet seen anything. Can we expect them later tonight or will it likely be tomorrow?

i'm thinking to go case less with this one. so tired of having my phone inside some ugly case hiding it's beauty.

anyone with experience in claiming through house or phone insurance should/when the screen breaks?

Just keep in mind a few reviewers are saying how easy it is to scratch. Perhaps a dbrand?

I've order one, can let you know what it's like once it arrives.

do you mean the phone you've ordered of the case? i had a fabric case with my xl2, i have funny hands so didn't like the dry feel, as nice as it was.

i'm considering the bear cases, or perhaps a dbrand, but honestly it's so annoying having one. my pixel 2xl is still looking great, but at what cost. i'm buying a pixel 3xl because of 2 real reasons over other android devices. 1 stock android. 2 the design. a case removes the design reason, so i'm paying £870 for stock android

sorry, I've ordered a white pixel 3, the google fog fabric case, matte white dbrand skin and now looking for a screen protector

I've gone overkill, but hate scratches

My 5T still has the factory fitted screen protector on and has been in a case since day1. It looks almost new, but there is a tiny pinprick mark on the rear where a grain of sand or something must have got between the phone the case. That's why I'm putting a skin on as well.

I've gone overkill,

.

glad you can admit it :D

i used to be like you, but let's take my current phone as an example. the case is covered in scratches as it's a soft spigen thin rubbery style case. this looks disgusting, but at least i can sell on my brand new looking mobile to someone else to then enjoy, while i've spent no time properly enjoying an actual brand new mobile.
