My current S8 is the longest I've ever had a phone for (18 months), so it doesn't take much to tempt me at the moment

I didn't mean literally something wrong with it. I meant are you not liking it anymore, are you bored of it etc.

Not really any issues. I just like the look of some of the features on both the Pixel and the Mate 20 Pro.

No, I don't think so. I can certainly see the appeal of it over the Pixel - for me at the moment the stock google appeal is more of a draw but on hardware alone the Mate 20 Pro (and potentially OnePlus6T) is a better proposition.

It's not just hardware for me. The Huawei has pretty much copied Apple's gesture system and I prefer that over Googles pill. Plus EMUI has a dark mode too plus a tonne of options. And it's supposed to be just as fast too.

I'm torn.

ok so going from ordering 3 pixels, now to cancelling them all. will wait to see what the 6T has to offer, however for the time being i can't see the reason to upgrade with what's on offer.

the 3XL is still one of my favourite, but that microphone is bad, the ram is bad, the price is bad, and the freebies with the pixel are bad, and software missing like nightvision and call screener, i feel i can wait.

Notch is bad, speakers aren't great, battery life is average, gesture system is poop.


But screen is great..... Wait its not that bright. Doh!

i did mention the difference when this was first posted. seems there's a reason for it now. 2 different screens

facepalming right now. Odd thing is, in person the reg pixel looked the better screen to me.

That said, i dont see google making the same mistake this time, im sure they would have had a keen eye on the screen quality this time.

However that's the 3xl vs 2xl. Not 3xl vs 3.

@SpartaK. I'm gonna give the Huawei a try first, falling back on the 3xl if it doesn't work out.

The 3 XL uses a Samsung made display, the one on the right is a 2 XL

Yep standard is LG and xL is Samsung.
