It's all relative though. The XL3 is technically better than the xl2 it's if you can justify it and how much that means to you. I guess some people it's a big deal and others it's not. I really really miss stock android when I move away to another device and always end up regretting it. The camera is what I use the most so for me most boxes are ticked
Fair enough and we probably agree, just it was painful to watch the P3XL reloading every app v’s the Note 9 holding them all in memory. The battery life is also better and screen almost certainly is too, the camera is probably at least the equal, although the Pixels have the software tricks, the Samsung actually has the hardware to do stuff like optical zoom.
My last phone was a Samsung, I’m pretty used to flipping between Samsungs (or some 3rd party) and a Google phone, I find them both very good in their own ways, arguably I’m starting to think stock Android a little overrated personally. My 2XL lags now and again, and it crashes more often than my old Samsung, we’re basically beta testers! On the flip side, the Samsung lags more, has more bloat, less refined UI polish etc, nothing is perfect.
I prefer the day to day experience of the Pixel, but the samsung hardware is superior undoubtedly (apart from the horrid curved screen, just why?) and if I were buying now I think I would go for the Note again, and that is despite that I do enjoy a good UI/UX. You can still have a pretty good experience with a Samsung IMO.
