Could be (and most likely) is a fake but interesting that the pics show a small notch (no Motion Sense?) and triple camera layout on the back.
I'd prefer the back layout of this compared to the other one that was rumoured.

That's a rather uninspiring design. But then we are talking about the Pixel line here so it's to be expected.
Just hoping that's the usual ultrawide/wide/telephoto camera arrangement in the back. Still, having a notch when Pixel 4a is a cutout design sure is uninspiring, I'm sure they could have put that speaker at the top like other manufacturers.
Not interested if it has a notch. Stupidest design ever is the notch.
Doesn't look as bad as the one on the 3XL which was horrendous. The one on my XS is fine - doesn't offend once your using the device.

Does anyone know why if you set a light wallpaper that the text on the home screen is still white? Yet if you use one of the light Coming Alive or light solid colour wallpapers you get nice dark text. I just want to have the dark text when I set a light background.
I assume that's your own wallpaper in the first image? If I were guessing (and that's all I'm doing) in the Google provided wallpaper, there might be some kind of flag to say it's light, so make the text dark, rather than some clever analysis of the image. When you provide your own, it doesn't know?
That's what I assumed. You would think there is an option to change it otherwise light wallpapers just aren't viable.

Indeed. It's far too bare bones.
However if you lose the stock launcher you lose the smooth gesture navigation.
