I'm actually loving this deck, it is amazing! i put in cairne instead of baron geddon since i don't have that card and put in ysera instead of the pagle.

Haven't lost with it in constructed yet, going to do an arena run tonight!

Right now i'd say this deck is the funnest i've played, thats me got 4 completed decks, miracle rogue, giant warlock, roar druid and this warrior one :)

I don't get why people just copy decks online. Surely most the fun and success is building a deck yourself and see how far you can take it.

Altering it constantly and adapting to your play style.

It depends, the only thing you can do when you're new to the game is copy basic decks online, I kinda agree though, people who have been playing a long time or the wallet warriors ought to be making their own.

To me it varies with your goal - if you're looking for tried and tested decks because you don't play much and want a helping hand with what's good then they can be very useful but considering a lot of the top decks are >5k dust then there's nearly always an element of customisation if you copy anyway. If you want to go it your own way with perhaps a currently unpopular meta (like lategame priest or something) then go for it but you may face quite a few games in which you need to tune the deck (20+ games I'd imagine) but the rewards may be greater than just copying.

I openly admit I have a copied watcher druid deck, it beats a lot of zoo/hunter rubbish you see in ranked and those decks are popular because they are ridiculously cheap in comparison to handlock or warrior control for example. More control cards being cheaper would help things, you just currently can't really make control decks for cheap dust amounts and it's a shame.

I do enjoy the process of building and tweaking a deck personally - it's fun and satisfying :) But I would consider trying a deck I saw online just to see how it plays and perhaps to influence my future decisions when planning my own decks

Currently on a 6-1 Arena run which is going quite nicely :D My deck is absolutely terrible but I'm somehow doing alright (playing as mage)... The most recent match was against a Pally and I almost lost it - he had 4 guardian of kings!!!

Like someone else said, if i want to go far i use some online decks that are properly fine tuned, (although i don't copy them exactly) saying that i do have self made decks that i use for fun and see how far i can get with them :)

I think this is the case for most people myself included. Playing with and against a certain deck strategy that is partly dominating the current meta really helps in understanding the game better.
When I first started I would netdeck Pally decks to get a feel for his plays and general strategies. My best deck (Rank 6) is my own version that was like nothing anybody else was playing at the time. A version of it later became popular to counter the Mage dominance before the Pyroblast nerf.

There are only so many different kinds of decks and strategies available from a ~300 card pool and everybody has there own unique versions of them either due to personal play style or lacking certain cards.

I tried going for a more spell based Shaman play as suggsted on here and just can't gel with it, using spells and backups & while building that one big card that has 12+ attack & windfury seems to work more, obviously at times, I get decimated, maybe its just my playstyle & i need to learn and adapt to the mechanics a bit more!

I tried a spell based shaman also, didn't work for me, i think its a little weak in the current meta.

I am getting beyond sick of these servers tbh.

That was a long ass match as well, and does this on the turn I would win.........

The servers booting me off on the turn I was about to win as soon as I popped the Stormwind champion which gave me lethal. Turn 20+ too.

Sucks!

One of the bugs that really irritates me is where it doesn't let you end your turn!!! Or when your going into the game and it takes a good 5 minutes to load...

They sound nasty :/ never had that happen though, but if I had a penny for every time it told me imps are messing with the servers or that my connection needs checking (LOL!) I'd be a rich nerd.

makes the grind more bearable :p

I went 16/6 with the deck I tried to copy yesterday :D
not bad I guess considering the limited deck building potential of my meagre card collection

I don't understand why they changed the servers away from the ones they were using for the Beta - they were flawless up until the 'release' of the game, now I have to restart my client 4/5 times to find a single match, since it keeps booting me off.

I got a 'Legendary' card today, Lore Walker Cho, I got a few Warlock epics as well and a Golden Common. Not sure what difference that makes, is it boosted or just a fancy colour?
