anyone seen the burst mage deck?
Play a few mana addicts, next turn frost bolt the enemy twice followed by two icelances and you can kill them in one turn?
I tried it, pretty effective but its very reliant on keeping those addicts alive.

No one add me for Gods sake, I am not getting the hang of this, after a great start I am now the Early Learning Centre of Hearthstone!
Takes time mate, i was absolutely dreadful first few weeks of playing, you start to learn different card synergies and you learn to think ahead so you can make the correct play etc.
You'll get it!
Ranked up to 10 and two stars last night.
Hopefully i can make it much higher this season.
EDIT: I did something completely stupid last night, i was playing druid vs mage, turn 1 mage didn't play anything so i coined, used power of the wild cause i knew i'd get atleast 6 damage or more out of it. But i was a bit fast and buffed my minions instead... hahaha still won the game though.

As a mage I accidentally fire-balled myself, bet the opponent was ****ing himself laughing, I just rage-quit at that point.
When i first started playing i accidentaly eviscerated myself and lost cause of it haha...

It sucks when you make silly errors like that - I'm sure I played a mirror match against a Mage once and in the early game I used my hero ability on my own 3-2 instead of his 2-1 by mistake!!! So the following turn he just finished my minion off with his hero power and I had to take a turn of damage and then waste another turn taking out his minion - ARRRGH

I'd like platinum cards that are ONLY attainable with real money, and they have 3d character models instead of animated pictures.
as long as they are not more powerful than cards you can get otherwise, or we might as well go play mtgo

loving this but i think the arena hates me ffs
i have been in the arena about 8 times now and every single time i get offered the rubbish heros and then the card selection is pants total pants
take last night for example i had a choice of rogue , warlock or hunter so i choose hunter and then every time 3 cards popped up for me to choose one they were rank.
in total i only got offered hunter hero powers and spells 3 times 2x change health to 1 and one secret thats it
i have never won more than 1 game in arena mode grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
anyone have any tips apart from quit lol

Honestly, no offense but you should re-evaluate your card choices if you're struggling to break past 1 win. Even the worst choice should be able to manage 2-3 wins.
Check some guides online and see which are the 'avoid' cards.

+1 to the above... Basically there are certain "always pick" cards for each class, and a whole bunch of "do not ever pick" cards across the board...
You also want to make sure you have plenty of 2s and 3s as Arena pacing tends to be a little faster than ranked and you want to be able to get stuff out there
In the games themselves board position is key in Arena - you don't know exactly how many of different cards your opponent has or even if they have certain cards at all so just focus on being in the best board position you can each turn

yeah i understand what your saying guys and i do understand a little and do ok in ranked what i mean is that i never seem to get decent picks in arena for example how many hero cards or secrets does hunter have but i only got offered 3 ?
and i always fail to get a link card like i might pick a minion that deals 1 damage so i could link it with the enraging guy who has windfury but ill never see him to pick lol
i just seem to get a complete mish mash of cards that dont link or i will not get offered many 2 or 3 drops and end up with a load of 6 or 7s and its not by choice if you dont get offered them you cant pick them
add me if anyone fancies a game a giving me some tips as i am on quite a bit
