Great news! Quite honestly, I've been looking forward to this more than CM.

Installation complete. Govnah is intact, but Uberkernal not listed there even though it's still installed according to Preware. Removed and reinstalled > got this: "Kernel is not compatible with this webOS version, aborting" under Postinst section of log.
I went into Preware Saved Pkg list to reinstall all my patches, and I see a number of them are lacking the little green downloaded arrow. I assume this means they're not available in this update (until the dev's do some tweaking, I guess). Here they are:
Ad Blocker - able to reinstall
Add ThumbNav Controls - NOT able to reinstall
Advanced Reset Options - able to reinstall
Disable Lock Screen - able to reinstall
Just Charge by Default - able to reinstall
Launch with Folder View Minimized (Mail patch) - NOT able to reinstall
Mimic Outlook Formatting on Email Reply/Forward - NOT able to reinstall
Muffle System Logging - NOT able to reinstall
No Launcher Button - able to reinstall
Quiet powerd Messages (sic) - able to reinstall
Remove Dropped Packet Logging - able to reinstall
UberCalendar HD - NOT able to reinstall
Unhide Dev Mode Icon - able to reinstall
Unset CFQ IO Scheduler - able to reinstall
Unthrottle Download Manager - able to reinstall
Dang!
Will the WebOS update work for people with CM7 dual boot?

It appears that some patches don't work and people have lost overclocks:

That is normal though, most of the patches should be up and running again within the week.
People have also said that it feels as fast as with the 1.5Ghz overclock which is good news.
Mine failed
I also had UberKernal on but put original back on before update
Ah well, saves me wasting time trying it out
Unless they super boosted the performance, I would never really use WebOS anyway. Waiting for the "glowing" icons on the cards when you launch any system apps was what really annoyed me.

Looks like when I put the stock Kernal back on it didn't take, a guy in the office has just tried and it has worked fine
All I want is the ability to play avi files. MKV would have nice also.
Cool. I might try it now.
Edit: Will I lose my Android stuff or dual boot menu is there? If so I will give it a miss.
