***The Official HP TouchPad Thread***

Should also work on the pc, it definitely works on the ps3.

Oh my, do want.

Stupid questions:

Wheres the Skype app? Not been able to try the camera at all yet...

Do people find the Touchstone hard to use whenthe Touchpad is in its case? It just seems an inelegant design to have the hinge of the case on the same side..

Worth doing a WebOS app thread? Or maybe just collate the good ones on the first post?

If you fold the flap round the back of the pad then the Touchstone will still charge through, I'm sure someone mentioned this. Certainly worth a stab anyway :p

it is indeed a heavy pad. No one can argue with that,

Yeah it is a bit heavier than I would like, however I only really notice this when I'm mincing around holding it with one hand.

Yeah thats what Ive been doing but it adds extra thickness that makes it harder to plonk the tablet on the stand easily and ensure its charging (ledge seems to built just to hold a naked TP)

Im sure you dont mean this:

You click on the bit that says the filename which prompts the TP to download the photo and display it in a seperate window. I dont think it does it inline within the email, but I have to admit Ive not fiddled with any of the setting post email account setup...

yea it's inline with the email that i want, some emails really dont look right without that!
No problem with inline images in emails here

Have you updated WebOS to v3.0.2 and followed all the other instructions in the 'get started' thread over on PreCentral? Looking through the patches I've installed in Preware, I don't think any are related to images in emails.

It just works :p

Something bugging me is the lack of scroll notification within the web browser, you never know your location within a page.

I guess a fix or update is unlikely too, shame.

Having flash makes browsing sooooooo much better than my iPad, depending on webOS support (or Android port) I think my iPad will be for sale :)
I think I agree, not having flash on my phone is a godsend as Im not expecting a full blown desktop browser experience on a tiny screen, but something thats adapted to that screen (why something like tapatalk is useful).

But with a tablet I do expect that full blown desktop experience and so far with the TP I think Im getting it, thouugh there are some caveats especially when it comes to support and updates to things like flash in the future
