also: if i wasn't buying this for work, i honeslty am stuggling to see why any one would want a tab, especially this one as i feel like it does really bugger all. i'm trying to play with it but can't see anything to do with it, and then as i'll be over to android when possible i'll set it up then for final bits. what are people doing with theirs? in the house i see no use for this device

Web browser, ebook reader, video playback, odd game. Will replace my laptop at uni for taking notes and such, weighs less than a third and the battery lasts longer.

For now, although I'll probably stick Android on it if/when it becomes available. A decent drawing app or PDF editor wouldn't go amiss so I can just annotate stuff directly.

this thing is missing buttons and it annoying me. I'm too used to my sgs2 for the back and menu button. I'm often left wondering how to do anything. This one big reason I'll be straight to android as soon as its out as it my understanding honeycomb has a standard position for them

I just grabbed 'Just Draw' from the market, and it seems to be ok. Basic but it might be of some use to you. Free as well .

You can import images to it and then draw on them, I'm not sure if saving pdfs as jpgs would be something you'd consider but if you don't find anything else it might work for the time being?

TuneIn is a great radio service, nice set up and has heaps of stations. Destroys my £9.99 DAB radio from Tesco!

AccuWeather is what you want for your weather needs. @ Forde - It even has a 'arthritis pain' measure! It's poor weather for grass growing, and terrible for golf but if I want an outside BBQ then the weather will be fair.

App Catalogue>>>Camera for Touchpad. Costs 79p but reviews seem ok. Not tried it myself.

As for KalemSoft I really like the idea of this one but need something that can pull movies directly from my NAS without having to transcode. BHome seems very good as my NAS is able to transcode the .flac and BHome recognises the files. Looks like I will have to convert x264s to mp4 though.
