I phoned them today. They don't have the phone in the system yet so retentions can't quote me, but in theory it looks like I could get Dolphin 25 (£22.50 online) with the phone cost written of. Will have to wait until Orange start stocking it.


They also confirmed that the prices up there today went live this morning and they wouldn't expect them to change again soon, though of course they're going to say that so take it with a pinch of salt.

Ah, right. Just looked at their site and it's changed in the last couple of days.

Is the above an upgrade or new contract, and how does it measure up with the online e-tailers ?? I'd like to keep the number I've had for years.

The Desire has a different connector (micro USB) but you don't need to throw away your old cables you can get adaptors. I bought 3 for £5 on ebay last night so I can reuse my old chargers and USB cables from the G1.
 
I've got 1 gripe with mine so far... the sound quality from the earpiece is very poor. I'd say it's on a par with my Nokia 6303 and nowhere near that of my E71.

Everything else is fine.... for now.
 
Anyone have any idea on when 3 are releasing it.
As i remeber them saying a while back they were getting the desire
 
Quick question for those on T-Mobile who got a deal with unlimited internet. If you go to My T-Mobile, and then the "My Price Plan" section - is there anything in there that indicates you have unlimited internet as part of your plan? My plan was setup incorrectly last Friday and am now trying to make sure it has been corrected and I do now have unlimited internet.

If you ring 150 and select the option to check your minutes it will tell you if you have unlimited internet - at least it does for me.
 
Ordered mine on Monday night and was despatched today. Hopefully someone will be at home tomorrow when it gets delivered so I can have a good few days to mess around with it.
