Had the phone on charge for 12 hours before I turned it on which I reckon was long enough, typing on it at the minute, never had a touch screen phone before but im loving typing on it, even if you miss the word it gets what you were trying to say!

Having a few niggles with wi fi and contacts but its probably just my inexperience.

loving my 2.5 y/o iphone 1st gen, full screen crack.. amazing 40sec boot time [yes i can check my emails on my PC from cold quicker than on my phone!!] and 2-5 second app opening time .. complete with jamming buttons, droped calls, stuttering microphone during calls, negative blacks, oh and new for march/april.. jamming 'slide to answer' button.. giving you the great excuse.. i COULDNT answer my phone!

Did you miss my post on page 10 of this thread? I got it working.
