Your radio is outdated, maybe this is why!

Latest version is: 32.42.00.32U_5.09.00.08 (see Richard's first post for radio link in DeFrost thread).

Although I don't know if that applies to branded handsets so maybe that's where the issue is hmm.
 
how long does the flash take? I had a little box with an arrow pointing to a green android icon (out of box) then it rebooted into recovery and says "Formatting CACHE....."

It does take a while, just leave it and make a cuppa.

Just dont touch it till it's done :p
 
grrr, hate the fact that the browser on 2.2 is always set to 'mobile browser' where as on 2.1 you could select it to act as a 'desktop browser' with none of these irritating mobile pages.

the about:config thing doesn't seem to work for me anymore either (no extra options). Anymore ideas?
 
ok saying i decide to root....

i would want to keep sense and basically just have 2.2 without any other stuff, which rom would be best?>
 
I take ot there is no way to back up a certain version of a program before rootin? I ask because the new versions of yr.no and Shazam and as few others are backward steps and I wouldn't be able to recover them with a root

Any options on this?
 
But no way to somehow remove the ones I have now? The yr.no with the flip clock is the one I'm concerned about, I can't recover this can I because the app on the market is updated and lost the clock (htc own it)

Need a backup solution that creates an image of what's on my phone, a bit like the restore disks you get with most new PC's, anything that can do this?

^ That's actually better in that it has a transparent back when you untick the transparent background option (default is same as SenseUI)

Surprised you didn't realise by now that in recovery mode you have Nandroid Backup and Restore!

Guys, is there a way to view full websites with the default defrost 2.3 browser or dolphin hd browser? I can't seem to fons a setting to change it
