Hi guys,
Normally at work I've got 2/3 bars of signal, all of a sudden today I've got absolutely nothing. Normally when I switch the phone on it'll connect to Orange pretty sharpish, but today...nada, just sits there saying emergency calls only.
Has anyone else experienced this, frustrating because damned if theres a way for me to tell easily whether it's the phone or the network, and I dont really want to factory reset my phone to try and found out!
After disappointing battery performance on defrost I've given open desire a shot. I think I've found 'my' rom
Flashed or stock?
Does anybody know when these are coming back into stock on Orange?
I've been told Sunday, but I'm skeptical...
Since buying my desire, getting a 16gig card and installing Doubletwist player I've not used my iPod once(which will likely wing its way onto ebay) - sound quality wise its as good as an ipod but not as good as my old Creative Zen.
never seen a reason to buy a screen protector since i have a leather pouch
500mb has always been enough for me though I dont use it for video streaming - just email / browsing / app downloading
Stock, I haven't modified the software on my desire at all, bar installing a few apps.
Dont suppose any one is in the MK area on Orange and can say whether its just my phone or there is indeed something going on coverage wise today?
The clock is called hero night or something, the rest of the icons came when I installed the circle battery mod with icon pack![]()
My 8gb Kingmax Class 10 MicroSD card has just arrived.
This should be excellent for apps2sd.
I get 17MB/sec when writing.
NicePrice?
You won't notice the difference in apps2sd or cache2sd performance I can tell you that right now. Class numbers have very little to do with real world performance.
My 8GB Class 2 Sandisk mobile Ultra compared to the Class 6 LG for example performs the same (and in some cases better) than the LG when connected to a card reader but over USB and in the phone they're both exactly the same.
Most custom ROM kernels at present don't make use of any extra USB speed either.
Unless you're taking the card out of the phone and into a card reader to xfer every time then you won't see a big difference at all I'd say.
