Just got 300 mins, unlimited text, unlimited net £15pm 24months and £100 for the phone direct from tmobile.
 
To anyone who has this phone, whats it like to type on in QWERTY mode in portrait view?

Also can you turn off spellcheck/predictive text etc in QWERTY and also lowercase only?

The default keyboard (QWERTY) is great in portrait and landscape mode, in landscape i can type pretty fast, certainly a lot faster than most people can "txt talk".

You can also disable the predictive text feature also, although no idea why you would its very very good.

Just a long time BB user and my typing skills are pretty much 100% very rarely make a mistake so I don't need predictive text constantly showing on the screen as it would be quite annoying.

Will give touch screen another go though, I bought a Hero about 6 months ago and sold it after a couple of weeks as I just couldn't get used to it.
 
Ordered mine, can't wait. Not had a decent phone in a while as nothing had taken my fancy so will take some getting used to :D

300 free minutes, unlimited texts and internet.

I must say i've been using swype and it's incredible. Really fun and fast to use. :)
 
Bit disapointed with MPD, I thought atleast by now I would have recieved it... Gonna order from t-mobile and cancel my MPD if possible. Quite like the idea of 3gb bandwidth as I do surf the net abit.

MPD have been saying for ages that they are delivery week commencing 5th April, which is today. Obviously today is bank holiday, so expect them from tomorrow onwards.

The time to be annoyed is if you still haven't got it by thurs/fri :P

the annoying thing is the 'pending stock' in order status, i would have thought it would say 'pending delivery' now
if no phone next week, im gonna cancel too

I guess so, but maybe they've just got them in and are leaving it till tomorrow to sort it out.

I went into CPW today, and the 18 month deals are pretty rubbish, and I don't really want a 24 month contract :(
 
Seems to be the way things are heading. First 12 months disappeared now how long before 18s go and 36 becomes the norm for the better deals.

the contracts in there were the worst ive seen!!

ive said it before never will sign up to a 24month one
 
ive sent an email to cancel my mpd deal as they are useless it seams. all the local shops by me have stock. Going with t-mobile direct as posted above.
