*** The Official HTC Desire (Bravo) Thread! ***

Whenever I lock the phone (also even sometimes when I'm using it, it still lags) and bring it back after say 5-10 minutes, the time will always be at least 2-3 minutes slower (I've done tests obviously, I'm not just being paranoid.)

This doesn't get quickly updated or anything after a few seconds of using the phone either.

Literally, I have to go into the settings menu and fix the time.

It happened on my out-of-box firmware and now rooted (on my third firmware of choice atm) it's the same.

Just baffling me what is causing it and it's even more baffling because nobody else seems to have experienced it.

Already tried disabling the network update for the time but it still does the same thing.

Again, I'm beginning to think the phone is faulty because nobody else seems to have seen this sort of issue.

It is rather odd yes, even on mine I have auto time disabled and the clock rarely misses a minute off my radio controlled desk clock!

I would get it swapped.

RUU flash it back to stock, then contact your provider and notify them of the issue.

Does anyone know of, or have used any good sellers on eBay for a Desire battery? I'm not looking for extra battery power, just a normal battery to use as a spare when I'm away.

Not Ebay, but I got one of these as a spare. I've rarely needed it but has come in handy a couple of times. They also do a dual charger so you can charge your spare and the phone at the same time.

People, Bookmarks, Calendar, Messaging exist at the moment, the rest are ongoing but Sense widgets aren't the only reason to go Plus :) I don't use any of them for example!

I'm staying on DeFrost now, it's just too featurepacked now since it's packing Cyanogen mod internals.

DeFrost setup to download and install mods (kernels, adblock etc) is also very nice and it updates with new stuff when Mr trip uploads them.

Also getting good battery life, unplugged early this morning probably around 6:45 and at present 56% battery after making a 36 minute phone call at lunch.

I'm using the 998MHz 1250mv undervolt kernel btw and have setcpu enabeld to only drop the cpu to 245/245MHz (performance scaling) when screen is off.

Is there still a setcpu.txt required these days?
