Can anybody recommend me an interesting ROM? I'm on Cyanogen 6.01 at the moment but seeing as I've got a bit of time I thought I might have a look at something else. I can see ROM flashing being my new distro hopping

Do people always back up before flashing a new ROM? What software do you use?

Look at the XDA Dev forum, take your pick

Nandroid = Always before a ROM flash, makes reverting much easier.

Oh yeah, black bar fans will like it that in DeFrost CM Settings there is a preset black theme available too which keeps the transparent dropdown tray:

I'll add my circle battery as soon as the kitchen is back online

Whats the worded battery thing? Also I believe it was you who had a clock that displayed the words rather than numbers.

It's been a while since I used a Sense ROM for this but you should be able to press Menu and go from there but will confirm this afternoon when I get home and can fire up my old man's Desire running Modaco!

It's a bunch of customisations, not just a theme.

Tried VillainROM, didn't like it very much so I'm updating now to Cyanogenmod 6.2. Really like this one, don't miss Sense UI much at all.

Yes, in the CM settings, under input settings, trackball wake, trackball unlock, etc

I come bearing good news

I was partly right with the 2nd tab bit, well the fact that it's the first tab

Menu on ALL contacts tab (1st) and then View and choose the groups to show/hide.


Video (also serves as a 2nd purpose to show 720p quality which is not bad at all on 4.7 DeFrost!)
