Awesome sauce. Just found out my car has a 3.5mm axillary jack, so testing that I can push Spotify for Android through the car speakers. Plus, when the phone rings the music pauses and when I answer it automatically puts it into loudspeaker mode with the audio going through the radio so I don't have to put the phone to my ear

Car dock is on the Nexus and features large icons for nav, search, contacts and voice search for use while driving. Press the voice button, say "call home" out loud and hey presto (This is on a Nexus, can anyone confirm its on the Desire?)

What's the app called, can't see it on my Desire, though settings contains a menu for the dock, which I can't access as the phone isn't docked.

This may seem like a silly question, but how do you remove apps (one that have not been downloaded via Market). Load of demos that came with this one from Orange I want to remove by can't for the life of me find out how.

I've tried Settings->Applications->Manage Applications-> clear data but it still remains?

Hey, so its an awesome phone, but one thing is really bugging me, im not sure if its been asked before but...

Is there anyway to stop your facebook contacts coming up when you go to write a text? I only want the phone numbers that are stored on the phone, not all my facebook 'friends' to appear in my phonebook. Any ideas please?

I've been using AppMonster. That removes them with all the rubbish.

Apparently Desire does not have the docking pins of the Nexus, so no car dock facility. Needs confirming, as I don't have the phone in front of me.

Can't you just edit syn groups for syn/display in the contacts section or is it different because of SenseUI?

Hi m8, Yeah if you wan't to remove the facebook pics on contacts go to:

Settings>Accounts and Sync>Remove Facebook for HTC sense, then when you enable facebook for htc sense untick the 'Sync Contacts' Option.

The cradle is an old cheap thing my brother gave me. The sat nav is goggles one. I downloaded it off a thread here. Works a treat.

anyone know how to link your hotmail with mail. can't seem to figure it out, done googlemail fine but i never use it.

Thats the guide I used and it works well. For the Outgoing Server SMTP Port, 25 didnt work for me so try 587

cor.. my battery life is terrible lol i know im using it a lot, but i have to have 5 toggle switches on a screen and turn off auto sync and wifi etc unless im going to use it..it is the worst thing about the phone for me

also, task killer shows a lot of apps running at any time.. even things like photo when im not using them. are these actually running? because the android background menu doenst show them

i got what someone else had.. contacts showing up in the phone menu off face book who i dont want, if they have a number on fb they come up on there! really annoying!
