any ICS roms out yet?
There's a couple on the XDA forums. They're all beta's though but run fine. The one by sandvold or MIUI_AU are great roms.

O2 cant send me a replacement Desire, so offered me a Desire S or an Xperia Arc S.
Went for the desire S as the design looks slick, even though the Arc has 400mhz more in the processor. I just enjoy sense that much.
Ordered a 16gb class 10 card, been using the 8gb so much i need more room already lol
Intersting, is the desire s going to get ics officially?
They've said April!
Their Facebook page says the opposite, no confirmed support for the Desire range at all. Focusing on the sensation range only.
Hi guys - having put Runnymede on to my Desire my sister likes the look of it and wants it on hers. The only worry I have is that her phone is Virgin branded - will this affect the process - do I need to do anything different and will it work at all?
Cheers,
MD
Shouldn't do. The rooting process unlocks any phone regardless of carrier letting you put any custom rom on to the device.
Just to add to this, it allows you to put firmware on and it does not sim unlock. There were problems with radios on orange but I don't think that's the case now.
Yeah as I found out, but a £5 unlock code sorted mine funny thing is my brothers desire which was delivered at the same time as mine didnt lock when I rooted his
It was to do with the radio version, if you ran a compatible version then there was no need to unlock, mines still sim locked on orange.
Any tips for me though? I've used Android to an extent on my old Samsung Galaxy Europa, but the phone was gash so it put me off it a bit.
I'd go with MIUI Android. My favourite so far and I've tried a stack load

MIUI doesn't work on my Desire for some reason. Just gets stuck on bootloop Although the MIUI ICS rom on XDA does work. Very strange.
think its time to sell the trusty ol desire and upgrade to evo 3d!
Anyone sold it recently on one of the recycling companies?
