I couldn't find that deal, where'd you get it from? After looking again, I have seen one that's at £15/m for 24 months, so I'm a bit annoyed at that (considering I checked T-Mobs lowest prices first and they didn't have any deals below £20/m when I looked :mad:).

Looks like they've just increased all their tariff costs. the £10 option doesn't seem to exist any more.
 
Anyone got one of these on Virgin mobile? What deal did they do?

I am trying to find a good price from a carrier that includes calls to the Channel Islands in inclusive minutes but only Orange & Virgin do that from what I can tell. Although i can't find a definitive answer on O2 or Vodaphone.

Probably due to the fact that they werent making any money on it...seeing as they knocked the price of the phone down from £164 to £122 for me...£40 they took off which i was pretty surprised with tbh.

EDIT: Just checked and geez they have really increased their prices even on the £15pm...ouch!!!...guess its a very popular phone so are trying to cash in on it.

Bah, as someone else has said it seems they've dropped that offer, I guess it must have been too popular, you could always cancel and see if they offer it again.

Pff, ah well never mind. I can't keep waiting for deals I suppose, because a new phone will come along, and then I'll end up waiting for the next phone.
 
Quick heads up, friend was speaking to Orange earlier.
They apparantly have stock coming in tomorrow but will take 48 hours to update on their systems, means they should be available as of thursday

Changed my mind and decided that 500mb per month should be enough as il be able to use wifi (current phone doesn't have wifi). Orange branding doesn't sound as bad as i first thought + id rather have an 18 month contract!

So ordered the phones4u deal + quidco!
 
Hmmm, been reading through the last two pages or so (I have man sized pages) and now I'm having second thoughts on returning my second Desire :o - if you didn't read my other posts, I was sent a second phone acidentally...

I mean, I was waiting for the phone to arrive on O2 but seeing the prices on the HD2 contracts and the prices rising on T-Mobile this is making me reconsider.

Little rant over :p - I saw this interesting link to a higher capacity battery for the Nexus One, wonder how many extra hours that would yield compared to the standard one and there should be a Desire one since it's practically the same phone!
 
can anyone tell me how i can work it so that one of my camera pictures shows up when a certain person calls me (ie a pic i've taken of that person). Can't seem to figure this out. Have managed to assign a picture to a contact, but it just seems to be an email address/facebook whatever. what am i missing?

Went into P4U yesterday and the guy said there was no £25 deal in store and they start at £30. Also said it may have been some extra £5 off through orange itself but that ended on the 1st April.

Either keep an eye out on your first bill, or he was just being a numpty, apparently 15yrs in the trade he told me and knows these things :D:rolleyes::D

Il be ordering through quidco for P4U as the deal seems pretty damn good, 18 months, plus my mrs is perfect use for the magic number.

Not sure about Android 2.1 but on 1.5/1.6 you edit the contact and click the little anonymous picture of your contact. Then it asks do you want to use one from your gallery or take a picture. I assume it is something similar on 2.1.

if i go to edit contact, there's a little 'camera' in the top left corner but clicking it does nothing. i'm just wondering if it's cos i'm trying to edit contacts which are on my sim, although i don't see why that should make a difference.

if anyone could walk me through what i need to do, i'd be v grateful!

You can't add pictures to a SIM contact - I just tried it. But with a full contact when I press the camera icon I get the option to either take a picture of look through my photo album.
 
ah ok, so how do i copy all my sim contacts to make them full contacts. bearing in mind i don't want to see all my facebook / email contacts when i look through my phonebook. Thanks :)
 
Menu > View > Untick facebook contacts. This is all you have to do to eliminate them (same with Gmail contacts)
