Well let us know of these great offers.
I have only really seen them for £30 now with a free handset and that si on a 24month contract.
You can pick up a Desire on an 18 month contract with T-Mobile, 300 Minutes + 300 Texts + Unlimited Mobile Web for £25 from mobilephonesdirect. I've read that folks purchasing T-Mobile via a reseller can get the usual 3GB limit by calling them up, the 3GB limit apparently applies to all Android phones.
Im going to call them later and have it out with them as im still in the same situation. Ordered 23rd and no sign of it being dispatched.

It's out for delivery and I should receive it today
The sad thing is all these problems are down to misinformation. I actually have no issue with the timescales involved, had they told me in the first place 'It will be Wednesday' then I'd have not minded in the slightest. It was the constant random information and lack of information that has wound me up.
I've still not had any of the text messages confirming despatch etc that anyone else had - good job I rang actually as I've been able to make sure somebody is in..

There are apps on the market that should enable this. I've not tried any so can't give you an examples.

Why can it not do this - sorry to sound like a stuck record but my 2005 Nokia 6230 could do this and sync via Bluetooth
Actually I think my 7650 did it as well, and that was 7 years ago...
I hope my new Desire isn't going to be a costant voyage of discovery of more and more things I consider functionality so basic I wouldnt even think to ask if its possible that it simply wont do..
Just installed the Android keyboard with voice to text APK, keyboard feels a bit better for me but the voice to text is a gimmick or my accent is shocking lol, it picks it up though if I speak REALLY slowly like a robot.
Also really like the google voice search from the physical search key, so much faster!
