Upgraded today and I'm really blown away at how good it is - I had a sony xperia z previously so it's not exactly a massive step up, but it is lovely.

It's pretty usable. Can store all of your music on there, camera app can use SD card direct too. They are the big storage eaters.
I paid £475... looks like people should avoid the Wimbledon store then!Good news about it being unlocked anyway.
So you got the £15 top up which has unlimited data, rather than the 500Mb Data for the £10 top up. I got the £15 top up to try out the data rates and coverage in my area, just to get an idea what Three is like. I still have another 10 months on my Vodafone contract, not massively impressed with the Three rates in the area so far anyway.
This had me worried when I read it. As long as the Music, Photos, Videos can go on the card that's fine for me.

As I don't get 4G yet I can only go by the 3G performance, at home in torquay I barely manage 2mbps, but when me and the miss's went out yesterday for a bite to each at a local pub I was getting 21mbps through my 3G (H) connection. Nearly as fast as my home broadband!

Some apps allow you to use SD card for storage too. Like Pocketcasts for example.

Battery life is really really impressive on mine so far, no build quality issues either, everything seems to be running just perfect:

Just got mine today as a replacement from my Xperia Z which took a beating resulting in a cracked touch screen. I'll see how I get on first before saying whether or not I prefer it or not!

Newgroup app couldn't dump finished files to 64GB SD, File Explorer couldn't copy & paste to it....very very poor.
BUT editing a file to allow access sorts all that out. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2687734
Atleast give us the option in Developer menu to turn it off or something.

No Mate I'm not having much luck at all. Although i'm not giving up yet, I can see myself trying out another M8 again.
Excellent stats that you've posted up there battery wise. Is that just through using Wifi or have you used 3G?

Mostly 3G, about 20% of that usage is probably WiFi I'd say.
I had the slim armor case turn up today, it's really really nice. I'm most impressed with the audio at the moment, even with headphones it's so good, better than most phones i've tried by a mile.

That's brilliant Mate, am really glad that the battery is holding up well. I agree with you playback of music via headphones and speakers are second to none and one of the main reasons I want to get the M8 again.
Does the slim armour case protect the camera lens at the back when you put the phone down on a flat surface?
Just sell them on via a phone recycler as I cant be bothered with all the rubbish that comes with selling on ebay.
I don't hold on to my phones for long, any new phone that comes out and if it matches up to my needs then I have to get it.
I never run two phones at the same time and tend to get rid of one after getting a new phone. I can't be bothered with switching out the sim card and all the media I've amassed over two phones.
