30 minutes WiFi rest network.
Force closes in the setup wizard, and then refuses to use any layout other than Chinese, Hindi or Emoji. Only way around is to install a third party keyboard. Very strange. Some others having the problem too. Think it could be something to do with Carrier ID.
I read about that earlier, why not do the setup in Hindi & then download the keyboard from Google play

Apparently it still shows up in English anyway. I haven't experienced the issue though.

Yeah it shows an english character setup but no matter what I do I can't get the standard keyboard to display the proper English UK layout. Must be something set deeper in the system.

Best thing to do is go through the setup that way, Download Google Keyboard from the play store & then delete the other keyboard afterwards.
The one from the play store is the exact same keyboard.

I've managed to get my phone completely back to stock and it's going back to three on Monday so they can repair the camera.
Battery test complete with juicedefender and I'm very impressed. (Android Revolution HD stock rom)
100% Brightness
Power saver was disabled so all 100% of the battery was at full power (Final 5% disables data connection as per juicedefender settings however Wifi remains enabled if connected which it was)
30 Minutes of google play music on data connection with headphones 45% volume (Plus custom equalizer settings via equalizer app + beats audio) and screen on browsing
35 minutes of web browsing on data no music
10 minutes of phone calls
1 hour of browsing and texts on wifi
40 minutes of screen on google play music wifi on speakers at max volume (Plus custom equalizer settings via equalizer app + beats audio)
20 minutes of live f1 video on wifi and speakers at max volume. (Plus custom equalizer settings via equalizer app + beats audio)
30 minutes of messing around on nova launcher and sense on wifi
The balance is probably lock screen viewing

Nah couldn't get it working doing it that way. Not even sideloading the Google Keyboard APK.

That is most odd Reflux, I'd just wait for another release to be honest, One thing that is bugging me is no Data usage page on this & when you tap the data toggle in the notification shade it crashes settings.

Yeah the whole thing is still quite raw I think. I don't understand quite why, I think we'll have to wait until the retail devices start shipping for these bugs to be fixed.

You can use this method but it will wipe your phone.
If you use the following method you can unlock without wiping then just install root:

The first method is arguably easier though.
Still on 1.28 officially. I wouldn't hold my breath for getting an updated firmware anytime soon. We were supposed to get it mid april, then end of April, then mid June. Now they're claiming (on twitter) 1.29 was included with the phone. I don't think they should allow people to tweet for their company who have no idea.
For now I'm completely back to stock because I need to send my phone back to three (camera issue) but before that I was on ARHD 11 with the 2.17 firmware and it was awesome. (I'll be going back to this once my phone is repaired).

ok so i have done "S-OFF, unlocked bootloader" i know how to change the CID. How do i do this "flashed HTC_001 1.28 RUU" ? do i need to do "relocked bootloader, S-ON'ed" first??
Just download the "RUU_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.7_Radio_4A.13.3231.27_10.31.1131.05_release_310878_signed" RUU & execute it on your PC then follow the instructions. Make sure you backup anything you need off the device as it will wipe it. I don't think I S-ON'ed & relocked the bootloader until after I did this.
