The Sense camera blows it out of the water in this one. Really happy I can use the camera with the GE rom though!

What is up with that GE edition shot? It looks like you smeared vaseline over the lens for that one!

I touched to focus & that is what came out, tried it twice & that was the result. It really is terrible, I didn't think it would be that bad to be fair.

I signed the petition by the way although it might not make a difference may as well.

We got nothing to lose where as HTC do!

Probably won't since HTC didn't change their minds with the desire HD, sensation etc.

however, I think this has happened too often now in order to not be ignored and for some reason(s), it seems to have gotten far more attention and a greater up roar across the news sites and forums.

Just got a contract on Three network with an HTC One, haven't fully had a play with it yet, but I am very happy so far with it.

Tried the Nokia 520, I like Windows 8 on mobile, but the lack of apps at presence made me want to switch to Android, otherwise I may of got a Nokia 920.

I just had the urge to have one of the top four phones. I usually go for Samsung, but the mic seems far superior on the HTC One for video purposes compared to the Samsung S4, and that was all that swung it for me.

So that's both GE devices, and the Nexus 7 + 4 cropping up with 4.3 leaks via Bluetooth SIG. Should be very soon for it to be announced.

Apparantly 4.2.2 has finally hit the UK for those with the unlocked model (CID HTC_001): http://www.gizmodo.co.uk/2013/07/the-htc-one-finally-gets-an-awesome-android-4-2-2-upgrade/

Nothing yet on my HO yet though...

Is the recording quality still good after HTC had to drop their microphone supplier?

I was able to download the small bugfix on Sat but I haven't been able to do the full update yet.

Will need to test it with some loud music, will get around to it when I can, use just headphones at moment.

I think mine was manufactured on 28th May 2013, my serial starts FA, so not sure where manufactured.

They are amazing pics, you wouldn't know they were taken on a smartphone tbh!

Just upgraded to a HTC One from a 4S yesterday and it really does destroy the 4S in pretty much everything. Currently chugging though my mp3's uploading to google play music to replace itunes match which may take a while!

Thanks for the useful info Nelly, as I am about to purchase a HTC One.

I had planned to wait until I was due for an upgrade from Vodafone, but as I would prefer to have a completely unbranded version, I am thinking of buying one from somewhere like the rainforest store, and using it on a Vodafone SIM free tariff, having paid off the last few remaining months of my contract, on which they have given me a very good discount.

Do you, or anyone else for that matter, know the best place to obtain one of the most recently manufactured ones, as I am a bit concerned about some of the build quality issues being reported on here, and elsewhere?

Bought mine sim free from carphone warehouse, it was made 6th May and I bought it 29th May

That doesn't sound bad at all!

Sorry if you have mentioned it before, but does yours have any unacceptable 'gaps' or screen level problems?

I think their prices are about the same as the rain forest store though.

Bought mine also from Carphone Warehouse, but on the 5th July, manufactured on 28th May 2013, mine is an all black one, and looks totally perfect to me, cannot see any issues.

guys, any recommendations on a good car holder? Had a look at the official one...looks really nice but seems abit pricey for what it is. Also not sure about the reach arm and whether it will hold the phone with a case on?
