***The Official HTC One Thread***

From the looks of things on XDA it seems everyone on 4.3 is getting the update. Nothing yet for those already on KK. Guess HTC wants to move everyone up to KK first before updating everyone else to the latest version.

Flash works for me?

I don't know if its because I installed the last version of flash for android (ICS I think) or due to an update or what ever.

I have an option on my Ones browser to enable flash, when I click a youtube vid to load it plays it in the youtube app.

Because it's the same browser from the previous firmware, it's not been updated to remove the option to enable flash. Either way, if you do try to play a flash file, it won't, even if you have the APK installed. And Youtube usually defaults to HTML5 on mobile browsers, hence removing the need for flash.

This is what happens when you try to run a flash application with the stock browser with the latest flash APK installed:

Firefox (which brings back the missing APIs):

Anyone got a desk dock?

I could do with one for my bedside table, main issue is most I can see my phone won't fit (my case is an otterbox defender)

Can anyone link me to a guide on how to return totally to stock? I haven't flashed a rom but think I have installed a recovery and rooted.

Its off to insurance2go for an insurance repair/replacement and not sure if they would be funny about it being rooted?

I have this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/VicTsing®-D...PE60/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1396190062&sr=8-1

But it only works with thin cases. Only cases I've tried so far that works with it is the HTC flip case, the Poetic Atmosphere and the Poetic flipbook.

Luckily there's 4.4.2 RUUs now, before the only avaliable ones for all models sold in the UK was annoyingly 4.1.2.

As for the last steps it's a bit odd as you need to be rooted to lock the bootloader, which happens after you flash the stock recovery. I got around by doing this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50074972&postcount=821

I then ran the RUU again since trying to unroot and uninstall SuperSU didn't properly unroot it.

Thanks I'll check it out in a bit. I'm actually still on 4.1.2. Never got round to updating it as OTA updates didnt work and never really felt the need.

For those with the older KK firmware (.9), the update to the current one is out. Should mean all HOs will have the latest KK/Sense 5.5 firmware... although it seems a few carriers are being slow.

I actually forgot about this update until my phone notified me :p.

Anyone got any idea when Sense 6 is going to be released for the M7?

Im hoping it will allow for the bottom black bar to become transparent.

Currently expected at May/June: http://llabtoofer.com/2014/03/24/htc-software-updates-plan-24-03/

When you mean black bar, do you mean the one with the 3 dot menu button? You can just get rid of that via Settings -> Display, gestures & buttons -> Home and set it to "Swipe up for Google Now, press and hold for menu".

I saw this suggested on the net during my search but I already have it selected so tried unselecting and then re select but to no avail

For confirmation, the thick black bar at the bottom

Oh you mean the dock bar. Then judging from the Sense 6 pictures on the M8, it should also be transparent for the M7 when it arrives.

Personally I'm using a different launcher however, which comes with a transparent dock bar (Nova launcher).

Ahh thats what its called.

I read that Nova can allow for it to be transparent but Im happy with Sense overall and this is really the only thing bugging me which I hope is resolved in Sense 6.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the RUU for my one. Its on 3 network, says the cid is H3G_001.

Do I actually need to use a RUU if I haven't flashed a new rom just recovery and root etc?

Just flashed ARHD 62 with sense 6.0. Seems nice so far, although the lack of Facebook/Dropbox/Drive integration in the Gallery app is a bit irksome. Why remove that when it was in Sense 5?
