***The Official HTC One Thread***

Odd problem I've just encountered... I've been using the flash player on the stock browser since release but it seems to have disappeared. The "enable flash player" check box has vanished in the stock browser settings and web pages that used to work now don't. Anyone else had this problem? Is there an update I unwittingly allowed install that removed it?

3's CID could be one reason why the custom ROM failed to flash.

CID doesn't make a difference in this case. Mine is still 3's CID & i've had GPE/Sense/PA/CM ROMs all running on my phone at one point in time. I've not long S-offed either. No need on the One really if all you plan on doing is flashing custom roms. S-off is for doing stuff like Radio/baseband, CID to name a few.

If anything it was probably an out of date Recovery I've seen this happen a few times lately.

Did you manage to sort it out by the way?

Was removed with KitKat, Grab the flash APK & Firefox still works on that :)

Fair point, forgot some of the 3 users here managed to flash custom ROMs fine. Then does sound like an out of date recovery.

This, Firefox does something to make it work again. Alternatively Dolphin with this modded version of flash: http://forum.xda-developers.com/goo...-android-4-t2548001/post47958533#post47958533

Neither worked for me, wish I never updated my HTC One yesterday to 4.2.2, I guess their is no way I can revert back?

What's the best browser with built in flash?

I got your trust message about Wiziwig not working but thought it would be best to post here to let everyone else know as well.

The hacked flash player will only work for Dolphin due to the way it works, as it now relies on some of Dolphin's components.

Same as for the normal flash APK for Firefox, Firefox does something to allow flash to work with Firefox only, but not for any other apps.

So other apps like Wiziwig will not work, you will need to go to the actual website and view it in desktop mode for it to work.

Cheers, I tried the Dolphin browser with Jetpack + hacked 11.1 apk, and when on cricfree.tv it just comes up with "Error loading player: No playable sources found", before the Android 4.4.2 update it worked alright.

Although if I go on wiziwig website using Dolphin browser to access whatever most links work, I didn't even know their was a wiziwig app till you mentioned it.

I tried Firefox beta and offical with the normal flash apk and it would not work.

Does other flash content work? Might be just the way the site is coded.

Sense 6 is now out for canadian versions of the HO: http://www.androidcentral.com/sense-6-rolling-out-now-canadian-htc-one-m7-users

This is what we can expect from the update: http://www.htc.com/us/go/sense-6-update/

Now it's probably a month's wait for the UK :p.

I flashed a Sense 6 ROM the other day and I had to setup the APN manually. When I did, only the 3G worked. Before I flashed the ROM, I had to push the boot.img file using fastboot.

I subsequently flashed ARHD 70 last night and found that my 4G still isn't working. Could this be related to the boot.img I flashed? Could my network settings be messed up? In mobile data network mode is set to 4G/3G/2G.

Anyone got any ideas on this?

What network are you on? Have you checked you're in a 4G area?

Just cracked my screen, anyone replaced one themselves?

I feel like you would be better off going with a professional service. I replaced the screen on my S3 but that had access to the screws round the back.

In other news. Sense 6 update has landed on my international unlocked One!
The update is a big one at 747.16mb!
Anyone want to know anything in particular?
