Bad news for the rooting/modding crowd... seems HTC are taking a harsh line on warranty replacements for phones with unlocked bootloaders:

Pretty ridiculous tbh and apparently it's against the law. They can't flat out decline to repair a phone unless they can prove the damage was caused by running a custom ROM. Not very impressed.
I don't think Samsung accept phones back for repair that have modded roms on either, and I'm fairly sure Apple will not fix a jailbroken iphone.
