I'm on 07 and with this firmware and the one before my wifi is shocking I have a Billion 7800n in a 2 bedroom flat and my iphone has signal all over the flat but the One X seems to loose it all the time and has general poor signal
Added to the fact I live in a small village the o2 signal is poor so I rely on my wifi at home... Hope .11 helps..
Have you tried turning on the 'max performance' option in the advanced WiFi options?
"Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep" What does everyone else have theirs set to?

Maybe this is what canes the battery?
I have WiFi set to "always on", but max performance mode "off", and my idle battery consumption is basically a flat line (pretty awesome!).
Does anyone else have lag on the PIN number unlock screen though?! This is what's really pee'ing me off about this phone!!!
That and the random Swype keyboard miniaturising itself...![]()

- New HBOOT: 0.95, New Radio: 1.1204.105.14, Kernel version: 2.6.39.4-gc9932b1
- A german site (android-hilfe.de) is claiming any screen flickering should resolve itself within two weeks of using this update, apparently some voltage values were changed in the update. They report you're able to speed up this process by manually setting brightness to 100%.
- Some are reporting much less screen flickering right after installing the update
- The SD card storage issue (disappearing empty disk space) appears resolved for some
- The bug that caused taiwanese text to be shown on the task management screen in the french locale has been resolved
- Wifi issues (related to both signal strength and wifi seemingly disabling itself) a lot of us are suffering by have unfortunately not been resolved
- Battery reporting (or calibration) is reported to be affected by the update in some way or the other
- Multitasking improved; most apps, including the browser, now stay open after having been sent to background
check if your routers are running at 40mhz, moving it down to 20mhz seems to have fixed my wifi issues
Anyone know if 1.29.401.11 resolves the issue where the phone won't switch back to GSM after it's only had wifi available ?
Saying that I only had .07 pushed to me the other day and I have a sim free phone so goodness knows when I'll get .11![]()
Flash the RUU, doesn't effect the warranty. No different to an OTA update.
Anyway mines going back, GPS has gone mad. Skips all over the place, tried all the usual fixes. Something they'll probably software fix later I would imagine. Think I'll wait for the GS3.
