*** The official HTC One X thread ***

I turned of location reporting in google maps settings and it has helped a bit so far. Also trying the power saver for just the screen (more useful if you use auto brightness), not too sure on it yet, but I think it is helping a wee bit. Plus don't forget google now will be draining quite a bit of battery if you have it turned on.

Still having battery issues. Before update battery hardly touched 50% now it's ending the day at 20% and it would be at 0% if I used it like before. FFS

Have they changed the way apps run when closed?

I'm finding that my battery life is entirely dependent on the quality and reliability of my mobile network signal. In my village (where in my house the signal drops and re-searches/re-connects all the time) I barely get 3/4 day out of it. In Nottingham where I spent the New year holidays I had full signal most of the time and the battery life was miles miles better.

aswell as cid its also based on serial number, but having said that maybe he actually got an unbranded handset as its been known to happen with T Mobile, afaik its only 3 users who havent got it, but theres a big thread over at xda to check if T mob have released it fully

Liking the update, phone is definitely running faster. However i have an odd issue. When i connect to the PC to copy vids over. I cannot see everything on the SD.

For example i have a my docs folder which i can see on the PC but I cannot see any of the sub folders inside this.
Also when i copy movies over its giving an error about the phone will not be able to play this file (or words to that affect) I can play them though.

I removed the driver and Sync software to see if they where the cause but still the same

Any ideas.
