*** The official HTC One X thread ***

Grr set Facebook only to sync people only if they're in my contact list but it's still adding randoms who happen to have their phone numbers on there. How can I make this stop? Had the same problem on my old Desire.
 
Went into cpw today and had a good look at this in both the grey and the white and i honestly dont see the appeal of the white. After comments on this site i thought to myself 'finally a non chav white phone' and was quite excited to take a look. But its still tacky looking :/

Not sure why people are bashing the 'grey' i think it looks better than a 'black' phone would anyway and infinitely more grown up/classier than the white. Its all opinion obviously but really i cant see this appeal the white one is having. Even the lens on the back having that silver circle looked tacky. Did i see a dodgy handset it was only a dummy afterall?

Really wanna upgrade at the end of the month to one of these but with recent rumours of a samsung release/unveil in may i feel that i have gotta wait! :<

I think the opposite. I thought the grey was really boring in comparison and I'm someone who understands why people don't like white phones, I'm not a big fan either. I liked the white iPhone for a change but black is definitely better.

Nobody is bashing the grey, they seem to be equally popular. I just think the phone is 'meant' to be white. Black would have been better than grey for the alternative choice.

It's just opinion after all! I think the Galaxy S II in white is absolutely abhorrent.

Its personal choice guys, some prefer white some grey I personally didn't like the white when I held both in my hands, we are all different we all like different things simple as.

Open People app, click phonebook in top left and deselect any contact groups you don't want to see. Your contacts that are linked with Facebook will still show after you've done this which is the behaviour I think you are after.

yeah just re-read my last comment it comes across quite rude wasn't meant to lol. Purely my opinion that the white looked cheap but I didntlike the white iPhone either so go figure :)

Cheers, that successfully filters the people page, but on the phone page all the randoms are still there.

Robbo or anyone for that matter...i have a lot of my mp3s synched with itunes...i take it i wont have issues synching the One X to my laptop and getting my mp3s onto my One x??

Just realised that i can pop into my local tmo store tomo and pick up my One X there, thats if they have any in stock...fingers crossed they do.

Just drag the files onto it and you're good to go I think.
