***The Official HTC Sensation thread***

LeeDroid 2.1 is supposed to be coming tonight.

Out of interest, how difficult is it to S-ON and restore default recovery? I've got the nandroid backup of my stock rom. But obviously the recovery needs flashing back to stock (any link for that?) and return to S-ON.

Then again, is S-ON really required? As HTC are releasing a S-OFF unlock tool soon? Or are they going to take the stance that if you S-OFF it, it voids warranty?

If you have a branded phone, you'll have to wait a while for your network to release/bodge it with their crap before you'll get it.

Sim Free phones should be getting it shortly though.

2.3.4 is smooth as butter though!

I'm on 2.3.3 still with Android Revolution HD, I've got an autorun manager to stop all my apps starting up and it kills them if they try to start. Runs smooth, can't think of any improvement I'd get fro 2.3.4.

Infact I downloaded the 2.3.4 stock official rom from XDA forums and tried it, no different, I'd use it if it did not have HTC Sense but it's a load of crap that.

I'm surprised with the battery life today/yesterday. on 18% and I've had about 25-26 hours out of it, just want the thing to die so I can charge it hopefully it'll start getting longer.

Got my Sensation today.. such an improvement over the Hero, really smooth and just damn nice. The Hero screen feels like looking at an old Nokia in comparison! I had to ditch the HTC home screen and go for Launcher Pro though, just flicking between screens seemed a bit flakey :/ Lovely phone, and most of my apps automatically downloaded too!
