Not one issue here.... screen no issues... battery is amazing.... camera very good.... I guess a bad batch ? To be honest the Pixel doesnt seem to be bug free...so as long as they fix peoples bugs fast ... but I cant see the updates coming fast through any of the carriers...

(im on EE)

Agreed so far - not used any launcher etc ... dont really see the need to as yet.

FYI..Turning the FPS off on the lockscreen will save a fair bit of battery. It apparently keeps the screen active all the time. The FPS will still work with apps so win win.

Is everyone leaving their screen on vivid mode rather than natural?
 
Has anyone picked up a case yet. I'm hunting around but with it still being new there's not much info on what's good or bad. I do like the look of the Huawei case with the front window though
 
Collected mine today from we, taken a few hours to set up as I've come over from an iPhone and I have no clue what I'm doing with android But I'm loving it. My screen seems fine but I haven't checked it properly yet what's the best way to check it?

Anyone got an tips or must have apps for android? I quite like this tick over clocks how would I get one? Also is it possible to display live bus times on the lock screen?
 
My HM20P has turned up must admit i am quite impressed although due to the screen size i was hoping that the handset was bigger than my note 8, not the case.

I am enjoying the older style of launcher but i do miss the app draw, apart from that i cannot work out how to use it.

The battery and charging speeds are exceptional, a nice surprise was finding the Infrared sensor for use as a remote I cannot believe they left this off of the marketing blurb.

now to keep it or stick with the Note 8?? (How much do i really use the S pen.)

you can still use app draw. Settings > home screen > home screen style
 
First day of usage coming from a note 8 wow 44% battery left after 9h29mins of usage albeit most was sat nav and Google music streaming.

This phone does feel real nice in the hand though, it's weird as if it's nice to touch...

Only thing I can't decide on is if I can leave the s pen? Also is anyone having signal issues with this phone?
 
just tried to see about sending the Mate 20 pro back and swapping to a Note 9, but the deal is so bad. As its classed as a new phone, not an upgrade as I have taken the Huwaei although I'm still within my 14 day period...

i thought this was quite peculiar seems as though the note 9 is cheaper...? Looks as though i am going to have to stay with the mate 20 pro or return to the Note 8 and keep looking for a plug socket.

I had to return the Mate 20 first, that was FOC as it was faulty.

Got a message today that they have received it, just have to wait for them to process the return, I can then do a new upgrade, hopefully tomorrow.
 
Just wondering why I cant find the standard mate 20 on sale anywhere? I can find the pro and lite. I found the standard one a few weeks back but no sign of it now.
 
I still have one at the moment due to my deal I got offered £60 with unlimited mins and text plus 100gb of data.
Ee can't offer anything good on a note 9.

It stressing me deciding whether to keep it or return to the note 8?

If you don't need all 100GB of data mobilephonesdirect have a deal with O2 for 30gb data for £46 a month.

Three have an unlimited deal for £49 upfront and £49 a month as well.
