*** The Official iOS 16 Thread ***

Since ios16, or more so the last week or so I occasionally get a settings prompt to enter my passcode just to authenticate iCloud and continue using it, is this some new security feature?

Tesco don’t seem to want to accept my Apple Pay over £100. Pretty sure it worked before.
See my thread in GD, Tesco are stupidly behind the rest of the world with their stupid low Apple Pay limit.

Weird issue (not even sure it’s an issue) I’m having.

If I airdrop a pdf from my phone (it was my mates but tested on both) to my iPad it opens in books app rather than saving in the files.

Bit annoying or is it purely because it’s the default way to open/view PDFs?

As if you send a photo it opens up in the photo app

I’d rather it just saved in the files

The only reason is if you think you might forget your password, passcode and have no other way to recover the account, I set my sister up as a recovery contact just in case, but I don't think I'll forget both my password and passcode.
