*** The Official iOS and iPadOS 18 Thread ***

Anyone had an issue with WhatsApp not showing profile photos on the lockscreen? Only happened since 18.0.1 so might just be a bug.
 
Just saw this was available to update (iPhone 11 Pro) so doing it now. Had missed the release of it but looking forward to some of the new features.

Hopefully it doesn't make a 5 year old phone run like trash. :D
 
Only pushed the beta upgrades as I wanted the Siri led update then found out you need to change to USA voice and location, will switch off betas now

Currently utilizing the 18.1 release candidate, I find limited utility in the fundamental artificial intelligence capabilities it implements. It remains uncertain whether I will ever effectively utilize these capabilities. *written by ai
 
I'm struggling with battery life on iOS 18.0.1 on my iPhone 13 Mini. Before iOS 18 I'd get a good couple of days out of it; now, I'm losing 60% of the battery in about 15 hours! Tried restarting the phone and checking for background apps, but there's nothing obvious.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I had a similar problem on my iPad Mini but the iPad OS update totally fixed it.

The new iOS and iPadOS updates are coming out this evening so I would say update to them and see if the problem is fixed. Should be out around 6pm or 7pm tonight.
