Not many videos on 32Gb and I have 4GB free.

I had a 16GB first, found I had to start playing around with installed apps.

iPad2 :

16GB 3G+Wifi - $569 (382 ukp)

Now which one to get!
 
Im getting a 32gb white, I just checked my iPad1 and its got 8gb of apps and used system space. No music/Video(normally stream off local network), I think 16gb will be pushing it.
 
I'm leaning towards the 32gb based on responses, which was where I was leaning anyway, despite budgeting for the 16gb :p

32gb Wifi it is then.... if the store ever opens!

IPad apps tend to be larger mainly due to higher res graphics. Compare rage to rage HD for example.

I think 32gb is the sweet spot myself, but everyone's needs are different so you may find 16gb will be ok :)
 
No word on when it may be available, either, perhaps understandably in some ways in order to deterr people hammering it but frustrating in other ways!
 
Maybe, but that fact you always get the sticky note would suggest its not a DOS attack, just a problem on servers on Apples end; It did breifly flickup about 8pm but went just as quick
 
Don't see what the big fuss is over the ipad 3. If you have an ipad 2 you would be a fool to upgrade.

Is it true that it has a 5mb pix camera? Please even cheap digital cameras have better cameras. Talk about saving current tech for future upgrades lol

They are purely relying on their strong fan base and by the looks of this thread they are right to wack up prices as high as possible because people will buy for the sake of buying the latest version.

Well done Apple, mininum effort, fantasic sales lol
