Upgrading from XR Black 128gb (maxed out with storage which is a nuisance).

My thoughts with the storage is that if I'm having it for 4 years then I might as well future proof!

I still have my 12 mini, and being my first iPhone I thought the mini would be enough.

Sadly I struggle with the battery life, and since the 13 and 14 spec wise seem quite similar, I might jump to a 13 normal

I had planned to get a 14 Pro Max but I think I'll just stick with my 12 Pro Max for now.

I'm thinking of doing the same.

If you haven’t come across it - I’ve found Airalo decent for travel with work to buy PAYG esims in loads of countries for my personal phone. They are usually data only but who makes phone calls these days.

Yeah I've looked at that before, I've not been able to use it previously because my main line is on an eSIM and the iPhone 11 can't have 2 eSIMs active at once.

Finance pre-approved for a 14 Pro 256GB in Deep Purple with AppleCare+. I'm currently using my work iPhone 13 which I really like after selling my 11 Pro a few months ago. But I don't want to use a managed work device as my personal phone moving forward. Will most likely keep it for the two years.

I was hoping they'd announce a new iPad as my 2018 Pro has a crack in the screen and I've been wanting to upgrade it for a while.

I got finance pre-approved on a 14 Pro 128GB in Purple. Coming from a Samsung Z Flip 3. Not usually one for iPhones, had a few in the past but the IOS has come on a lot since I last dabbled and I'm really intrigued to see how it runs.

benchmarks are out. As expected, performance of the A16 is near identical to the A15 in the iPhone 13 Pro. Any benefits of moving to a smaller process node seems to have gone into a lower TDP to improve battery life which would have been needed to compensate for an always on screen and higher brightness.
