Turned off AOD, it’s a waste of time.
Dynamic island is a gimmick until they roll out the software APIs for live sports tracking, but even then I don’t see it being the game-changer that they marketed it as.
Battery life also seems worse on a 14 Pro Max (albeit maybe be software related) but noticeable drain coming from a 13 Pro Max.

Anyone have a disappearing keyboard issue? Several times my keyboard just won't appear in any app. Restarting the phone sometimes brings it back instantly. But most of the time I just have to open and close apps over and over and then it appears again. It's ******* annoying!

As an experiment, can you switch off AOD for a couple of days and see if that makes any noticeable difference.

Still think the battery on the 14 Pro Max stinks compared to the 13 Pro Max. Was worried I had a bad phone but I've seen a few people mention it now
I gave my girlfriend the 13 Pro Max, and despite it being a a year old (battery health was 98%), it's always less drained than mine by the end of the day, and we use our phone pretty much the same way

Well, today he took the 13 mini back to Apple store for a full refund and bought a 14 128GB in Blue from a different store that doesn't allow returns. He's hoping this will break the cycle, but I doubt it. He'll just sell it on cheap and buy another.

Anyone waiting or received an IPhone 14 Pro Max 256 from EE in the last few weeks? I’m 3 weeks into a 21 day dispatched(usually) order and have a buyer for my old phone so kinda frustrating.
I know how you feel I've had my iPhone 14 Pro Max on order with Amazon for just over two weeks, seems longer.
As I predicted today, he tried to take the 14 back for a refund but wasn't allowed. So sold it to someone in fruit shop for $800. This was a phone he paid $1399 for a few days ago.
Picked up an ex display 13 mini 128GB in blue for $799 from another store. His Dad had a go at the guy in the fruit shop for buying it off him, he's had a number of his phones on the cheap.
Says this is the last time but I doubt it, he's out of control.

LOL, lost $600 in a few days. He may as well just throw it out in the streets and watch people running around trying to pick it up. Surely that will be more fulfilling.

So, he went to Apple store and bought a brand new 13 mini in midnight for an extra $250. We'll see how long this one lasts.

Well, his dad paid for a 14 Pro 128GB Space Black and he's going to return the 13 mini tomorrow. He will pay his dad back over time. Says he loves it, let's see how long this one lasts.Gone by 1st November.

Got my iPhone 14 PM yesterday and well, I must say, I’m quite underwhelmed.
It’s good and all, but other than the screen, it really isn’t any better than my 12 PM.
Really not sure whether to keep it yet. Haven’t even been using it
What it has done, though, is make me realise that my earpiece speaker on my 12 is definitely broken. Couldn’t believe how much louder it is on the 14

I didn’t expect much, as when I got my 12 Pro Max it wasn’t a huge upgrade from my XS Max, but it was decent in many key areas, and as a package considerably more complete.
But the 14 really doesn’t feel any better, and the 120 Hz display doesn’t do it for me - my work phone has a 120 Hz display and it’s nice but not a must, IMO.
