only reason i thought about it was cash in on the s3 now whilst its worth something then buy the cheaper N4.

in 2 minds, will not buy an iphone 5 though, trying hard to resist lol

Was tired of running custom roms and wanted a pure Google experience and also it's got 2gb ram :p sold mine cheap though

iPhone 5 has been a mess for me only using as I had no other Smartphone and got one from work !
 
Just went into the local CPW and there wasn't a single piece of Nexus 4 merch to be seen, before the weekend they had a little stand thing with info and stuff. The guy said he had no idea when it would be in and selling it sim-free would depend on stock levels because they have to try and push contracts out first.


Nearly walked out of the Three store with an 8X though! But managed to resist! :D The lad there mentioned about maybe having the Nexus 4 in a couple of weeks as it was on the system but has now been taken off.

Nope, dont see the point in all honesty. Of course it has faster hardware but the lack of sd card and a measly 16gb internal memory means its a no go for me. As much as i want a stock Android handset, the nexus 4 just doesnt have enough to sway me at the moment. Perhaps if they release a 32gb Nexus4 then id go for it. I can overlook the ext sd card on a 32gb model but not at 16gb though.

Saying that its a stonking price for the handset. I have a few iphone mates that want to change from the iphone to an Android and ive told them to get the nexus4 so one way or another ill get to play with one.

Pretty much sums me up as well. If there's a 32GB version released later down the line, and it's not going to cost me too much to swap, then I'll probably go for it. If not then I'm happy to stick with the GS3 for now.

Yeah, agreed, so for now I'll just hope for a Friday del, I got excited when it said "Two Day Delivery £9.99", crazily I thought that meant I'd get a delivery in two days. Didn't know it meant "two day delivery after we spend a few days chillaxing and watching you sweat" lol :D
 
Don't know if anyone has said anything but...went to CPW and apparently they aren't selling the Nexus 4 pay as you go/unlocked.

Bought it for £410 at O2.

It's such a nice phone!

Yes. If it arrives on Friday, I'll be pleased I've had delivered this week, but we'll just have to wait and see. I hope we get some dipatch emails soon!

gratz on being first to get it, yeah its a lot more than you could have paid, but to buy a phone like s3 sim free you are looking at the same and this is a better phone eh :)

Can we get some pics and first impressions? Maybe install some games and see how it handles them lol.
 
I didn't have a phone, so wanted one sooner rather than waiting.

£410 isn't an issue for me at the moment :p...hopefully!

I would if I had another camera, will hire one from the university and take some pictures :)
