***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

If my postcode is out by a single digit, should I still get my delivery? The rest of the address is correct - and the postcode that I gave them doesn't appear to exist - so if they can't deliver it to the postcode, will they just go on the other delivery details they have?

I would imagine so yes, but call the courier and ask them. They'll probably say it will be fine.

It really depends on the delivery company, I have little experience with TnT so couldn't say. If it were RoyalMail I would say it would come to you regardless of the error.

I'd like to think their systems would be a bit more robust than falling over at a simple error like that, but then with couriers who knows!

£410 for the N4 when you could get it for £280?!?!?! LOL! :o

For that sort of money I would rather get the one X+, XL or even the GS 3 LTE model or the note II (if size wasn't an issue) or the RAZR HD/MAXX, of course assuming that the battery life, audio (loudspeaker) and camera remains the same way that it currently is on the N4, which is worse than all the above (apart from possibly the RAZR phones in the camera department)

If you want to get something other than the N4 after this carry on and that isn't the GS 3 ROB, have a look at the RAZR HD/MAXX (not available here yet), HTC one X+ and one XL and if size isn't an issue then the note II.

Thanks, my gut feeling is it should be safe too. And as soon as I get a tracking number I'll call them to clarify the details. Don't want to have to cancel the order if I can help it. Who knows when I'd get hold of another one.

i would say it depends on what digit is out, eg if you put IV instead of IG you move from london to inverness

Bought it for £410 at O2.

It's such a nice phone!

 ouch

I didn't have a phone, so wanted one sooner rather than waiting.

£410 isn't an issue for me at the moment :p...hopefully!

I would if I had another camera, will hire one from the university and take some pictures :)

If you had waited for a reasonable price you could have bought a good compact camera with the difference. Or a spare phone to tide you over.

Bundled headphones are always rubbish anyway! I guess not including them keeps the price down and saves you just chucking them in a drawer and never using them.

rp2000

But the phone cost £399, hardly keeping the price down.

I'm in my uni lesson and its attracting so much attention.

"Is that the Nexus 4?"

"How'd you get it so soon?"

At least you bought some stardom for a day or two for the extra £120. And I thought your student funding was a long way away and you were living on beans.

Struggling to live off beans now Student Finance won't be giving me and funding until January...

Sorry guys :(

Might also depend if the incorrect postcode you've entered actually exists, if it does it could head off to the wrong place but if its an invalid postcode then presumably they'll look up your address and spot the mistake.

Depends how wrong it is. If say you put SW2 instead of SW1, it will probably go to the right depot anyway. And the driver will know the actual address. Anything wrong in the last 3 digits, usually makes no difference at all.
