Anyone else still pending? 5:35 order on the first day. The held money in my account is also all back now :(

Was hoping to have it in time for Christmas, does not look that way. Oh well, at least I have BGEE on iPad to keep me busy.

Agreed. A little debate about the screen is fine, and for those trying to decide on a purchase it helps to know the differences, but its become a tedious argument now.

Majority of people in this thread I believe. The XDA order tracking spreadsheet makes for woeful reading.

I looked at that spreadsheet again last night. As nothing seemed to have changed I was hoping they'd just stopped updating it, but probably wishful thinking. Pending here, I'm a 1-2 weeker.
 
Well they have just under a week to begin sending out the 1-2 'weeker' phones so i'm not to bothered until that deadline has passed!

Still erks a bit that some 4-5 'weekers' have got theirs first but ah well such is life! :P
 
I'm a 3-5 dayer and I finally received a response to my email this morning that sent a couple of days ago about my order status. All it said was that they are passing it on to a specialist.

1. Why does it take a specialist just to give me an order status?
2. Why does it take 2 days to pass it to a specialist?

Why all this BS? It's ridiculously bad customer service.

Yep, I'm not going to start moaning until they've hit the two week mark. But as a lot of 3-5 day people don't seem to have had theirs shipped I don't hold out much hope.

I'm still waiting for my phone but all my previous Android phones have charged fine with the Amazon Basics cables. Pretty good quality cable for the money.

Tbh if I were you I'd get some throat and tooth anesthetic in because going by my 3 to 5 and "completed" status but complete lack of fone or email I predict you're gonna be wailing and gnashing your teeth come the 19th.

I found myself wondering if the worldwide lack of stock is down to massive production difficulties or QC rejection issues, previously I thought it was commercial and partner concerns, I never bought the unforeseen demand story, who'd want a top spec fone for half the market price, as if.
 
im still sticking to the idea that we all havnt actually bought the phone but just pre-ordered it.

By this i mean all the dates given whether they be 1-5 days or 4-5 weeks it all doesnt matter as it is a pre-order thus isnt valid untill stock becomes available

So unless they have taken money out of your bank account i wouldnt have any hopes of getting phone soon, even if you were given 3-5 days or 1-2 weeks.

So until money taken out your account sit back and just forget about it until money taken;)

for me when i clicked "buy" it had 4-5 weeks, ordered it 17:09, i dout il get mine until january.
 
Interested in anyone who has used the Nexus 4 as well as either S3 or Note 2 and their views?

I am still pending for my Nexus 4 order and tempted to cancel and go for either an S3 or Note 2.

I have looked at 2 year costs.

The nexus 4 is £289 plus I was going for GiffGaff £10 per month (250 mins/1Gb)
Total £529.

With Tmobile, via mobile phones direct

S3 is either £29 plus £21 per month (100 mins / 750mb) total £533
or £23 per month plus £72 (300mins/750mb) total £624

or vodafone, 21 per month plus £149 (600 mins/500mb) .

Note 2

T mobile, £21 per month plus £89 (100mins/750mb) total £593
also do either 300 mins/750mb or 100 mins/1500mb for 24x26 plus 89 =£673

So for my needs, Nexus 4= £529, S3=£533 or Note 2 = £593

Money not too much in it.

My use;-

1) internet browsing
2) email
3) personal organising / diary / astrid etc
4) sky news / bbc news / iplayer /maybe skygo in future
5) music
6) camera

Won't do much in way of games.

Also, wont play around with settings too much.

Views?
