***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Got twelve hours, 3 hour screen time today with that wretched suspend_backoff in the end. Think the msm_hsic_host wakelock has disappeared for now, so that's some sort of relief.

WiFi all day. I live onsite where I work, 50mb business line. Still showing the suspend_backoff issue without Chrome, so it's definitely not that!

I had a lot of problems with this and nothing seemed to fix it, I wiped the phone completely and re installed all my apps (Using titanium) and now its completely gone :).

Also I can't see that cell broadcasts option in the the 'more' section of wireless/networks, am I being a div?

ITs normally not on Custom roms, Don't worry I posted asking the same thing Doh!

Had my Nexus 4 for a while now and very impressed with it, however a couple of queries

- Is anyone using a pouch and a case for this phone? I'm pretty terrible at dropping my phones!
- What's the best way to import my old messages from my Desire HD?
- Car Holder, any recommended ones?

- I'm using a "suncase galaxy s3" - have a look on a popular jungle store. Really nice pouch, genuine leather.

- Nokia CR-115 Universal Holder, from the same place as the case, costs about £6. You'll need to cut the pads (to about half their original thickness) to fit the N4 in but its a quality little holder

I've done it this morning anyway; no sign yet other than the screen being the biggest burner behind the Android OS/Android System which are both at 18%. I'm happier for now until BBS kicks in and shows me some stats, but that's still slightly abnormal, right?

Can anyone recommend a cheap as chips but really protective case for the Nexus 4? I have a Mofi pouch for it most of the time but want to put it in something stronger and less likely to get covered in crud for when I go out on my bike and put the phone in my backpack. It doesn't have to be nice looking or even have any features but must have a decent price/protection ratio :)

So with the Trinity Kernel, I got around 2.5 hours screen on time, and 25 mins of calls, and over an hour of internet radio. Went from 100% to 20%. Was on Wifi the whole time, and lowest brightness. Not too bad, I'm trying Franco's out now.

EDIT: first thing I notice with Franco's compared to Trinity is that the colours are much brighter. The whites are much better than on Trinity, but there is much less contrast. I can't say either is better than the other, it just depends on which you prefer.

If you aren't using your phone much then of course Android OS will show at the top.

I'd check your syncs & other apps you have installed.

suspend_backoff is related to wifi iirc so turn your wifi of for your next charge and just use the mobile data connection and see how things go.

One guy in the one s thread has a similar problem and said the reason it takes so much is because his wifi signal is iffy/weak.
