***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

get a note 2 then or a motorola maxx razr ultra 9000 these will last longer :) but an n4 should be sorted sooner or later, it is quite normal for new phones to go through the phase of bug fixes before they reach their max.

Note 2 way out of my price range. The Nexus 4 really is the best phone for the price it is. I'm going to bite the bullet, end of the day it's the best phone vs price so why not eh !!

I don't think you'll find the battery that bad anyway, depends on your usage but certainly shouldn't be anythimng like you are describing your current one. I only charge once a day.

Still not got the update, even deleted the Google services framework 5 times! I'll give it to after the weekend then will have to do it manually or something

its so mind bendingly easy to do it yourself I really don't see why you're complaining, either wait or do it yourself if you're that bothered.

Hovering over the buy button as my HTC Desire is on it's last legs. Don't know but there's something holding me back, from reading all the battery issues and stuff on this thread. I have to charge the Desire overnight, at work all day and I don't want to do the same to a 3 years newer phone too. hmmmm
I find the battery life on my N4 far better than the Desire it replaced. You'll love the upgrade :)

Loving my Nexus, always expected I would be charging it at bedtime which appears to be the case. Wifi seems to be a big drain so going to try that off for a few days to see if that makes a difference - first impressions are it does.

That is very odd to be honest.

Can you try getting OI File Manager & seeing if it'll let you delete them from that app?

Tried that but they still wont delete.
It says they are deleted but you browse out of the folder and then back in and they are there again.

Try doing it via adb shell?

I have no idea what that is mate.

I should point out that the files are in !ReadyToFlash folder which i believe was created by Wug's Nexus Toolkit.

Wifi is less of a drain than 3G data, so it might make things worse.

It's using your computer to access the phones linux terminal.

The command
Code:
adb shell rm -rf /sdcard/!ReadyToFlash
should bin them off.

My nexus 4 has developed a nasty crack running along the top right hand corner of the back of the phone, thankfully not the front!

My main gripe with the phone is the call quality can be really bad sometimes. E.g. i can be in a call which is perfectly clear, then 5 minutes in it starts to go quiet or the person on the other end cant hear me intermittently. Really annoying. If it persists I will be asking for a replacement. Anyone else had this problem?

Other than that its pretty amazing.

That is crazy!

Would fixing permissions in recovery sort it maybe? If you can't do it the ADB way.
