Have you changed th DPI for the Play Store app? You should keep it 320, no matter what you do to other apps.

Not sure why its saying they're incompatible but a root only app called market helper should let you download it anyway if you get that.

I set DPI to 270 for everything, changing Play Store back to 320 now.

Flash the update .zip with ClockworkMod recovery and after it's installed it will ask you if you want to keep your root access.

It should work, did you restart your device afterwards?

I had to force stop/clear the google services framework app about 5 times before it eventually worked. Now it's installing.

I was desperate to get it since I've had issues with my battery life and I'm hoping this will fix it.

anyone notice their n4 charger buzzing like hell?

is there a way to remove / reduce the noise? i charge mine overnight and its so hard to sleep

I noticed it once, unplugging it and then plugging it back in seemed to cure it though.

4.2.2 feels fast! Running AOKP unofficial 4.2.2 build for the time being coming from PA and it's just as fast and smooth with the PA kernel (stock).

Will run the stock kernel for a day or two to see how battery is on that.

Any comprehensive comparisons of nexus 4 battery life on 4.2.2 compared to previous?

Im currently running PA 2.99 not sure whether to change over to stock 4.2.2 or PA 3.0 as I kinda like the smaller status/ notification bar in hybrid modes.

Also if i was to change over to PA 3.0 is it a simple INSTALL ROM, GAPPS, WIPE CACHE & DALVIK CACHE ie. i do not need to factory reset/ reinstall all my aps etc?

As you'd be moving from 4.2.1 a wipe/reset would be advised. You can easily backup your apps as Android JB has a built in backup feature which backs up all your apps plus it's data. You can do this via adb or using the toolkits. It pulls the app plus data off your phone onto your PC then you can restore it back. Or use titanium backup pro for this as well.

Also after you flash the latest PA you'd need to flash the 4.2.2 baseband and radio.

Why do you need to do this? I've only ever installed the latest PA without bothering with the basehand and the radio.
