***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

its so mind bendingly easy to do it yourself I really don't see why you're complaining, either wait or do it yourself if you're that bothered.

To be fair I don't think anyone was massively complaining, just saying it wasn't working....

Personally I was just curious as to how it worked as I've come from iOS, and if there was an iOS update I clicked update and it updated. I was unsure how it gets rolled out with some people getting it and others not.

I'm on 4.2.2 now too. wifi seems better. turns off when it should now when the phone is asleep. Not had anything keeping it awake yet like I had sometimes before

whats the easiest way of removing the voice typing mic and never EVER seeing it again? I keep disabling it and it keeps coming back and its right where I think the comma should be.

I've used a couple of keyboards too and it KEEPS HAPPENING AAAAAAARGH!

using the stock keyboard i disabled it from within the keyboard whilst in messaging yesterday. i have restarted my phone twice and updated to 4.2.2 and the comma is still there in place of the voice typing

I sideloaded 4.2.2 and my battery life seems to be a ton better. I've been out all day and got home and it's only down to 75%. This is with everything on from Google Now and Latitude etc. On 4.2.1 I'd expect to be down to about 15% by this point. Has anyone else noticed increased battery life?

I've disabled it by holding the mic key and then changing the settings in there and it seems to be sticking. I've had this with 3 android phones now so maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Right, I just can't delete these files so it's time for a clean install. I don't want to go through the headache that I had to last time so what's the safest way to do a clean install wiping everything and reinstalling PA

yep thats how i did it. the only place it isnt a comma is when entering a web address it a / instead

Great, 4.2.2 scuppers SkyGo again, Sky really need to get their act together, none of my other apps ever have such persistent issues with small stability updates.

Flashed the latest version of PA, all is well except apps in the Play Store (e.g. Adobe Reader) are now showing as incompatible with my device.

Any fixes for this?
