its done and orderd. I got a little Peedoff last week, as the Wifi on the Arc has been not working, and i keep running out of MBs usage with my contract from using 3G all the time.

Dose it take a long time to arive?
 
i used a big sim and a piece of paper which i had printed a template onto from giffgaff forums/website.

simply placed the big sim onto template and cut where the lines were using scissors, probably the easiest and quickest method if you have a printer.
 
Do you have the 'Snapdragon Battery Guru' installed??? mine has the habit of turning off various parts of my phone's sync to save battery!
 
At one point I was but then I found under:-

Mobile phone provider (the signal when you click te quare the top right hand corner)

then click the vertical 3 dots

Make sure autosync data is on. Some of the eco apps can turn this off

this worked, dunno what turned it off
 
just tried the new pa and love the colours but not sure on the rest of the rom

so i flashed francos kernecl and the latest cm10 nightly

is this is a good combo?

before i start installing everything and have to wipe it all if i want to put a new rom on , anybody got any recommendations?

what kernel and rom
 
Just got myself a nexus 4 and I think it is absolutely brilliant. The only annoyance is that at first I was extremely glad to find it came with a back and front screen protector fitted but why oh why did they have to put the emblems for the power and volume buttons directly on the protector?! Now I'm going to have to remove the front one and fiddle around putting another one on and probably making a right mess of it.

I had the original covers on for 2 weeks, irritated me, but now I have some fresh new ones and it was a doddle really. I had 2 air bubbles on the rear one which I couldn't get rid of but seeing as I don't look at the back it's ok, until I change them to the new dbrand ones that are due in a few days :)
 
Does anyone know how to switch off automatic turn on of WiFi.

I am now on unlimited goodybag wtih GiffGaff and when I am in the office I want to only use my 3g data as the office wifi is frankly rubbish. But whenever I check my phone it has switched wifi on even though I have turned it off.
