***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

The only browser that I find to be more or less perfect is sense browser.

Last time I checked this had no gestures, i.e. go to bottom / top of page. If this is still the case then I certainly couldn't live with it, as when browsing forums a "go to bottom of page" gesture is essential imo.

Boat Browser does this extremely well, because it doesn't require that you drag an icon and then select gesture before making the gesture (hello dolphin), however Boat Browser had to go for different reasons, mainly bugs from trying to reply in forums.

Gutted!

Just took my phone out without the case on for the first time, on the way to the gym it slips out of my pocket and cracks the screen!

The screen is basically completely unresponsive!

Anyone know the best place to get a replacement screen?

Thanks mate. Found it. Nearly £100 and I would have to fit it myself.

Might just wait and see what the price of the Nexus 5 is before I go for it or not.

I replaced my wifes N4 screen, was actually a lot easier than I expected. So if you go that route and are handy with a screwdriver it's very do-able. :)

There's a YouTube video with a step by step so you can't go wrong.

Yeh theres a good video on the LG website actually.

I am confident I could do its just if I want to spend £100+ on a screen on a phone that will be replaced soon :(

Confused today. My phone is doing some app updates but they keep failing and every now and then I get a message in black n white saying the internal memory only has 1.16mb left.

I checked Settings > Storage and I have over 5gb left. What is causing this issue?

Has anyone else suffered from abysmal battery life since updating to Android 4.3?

My phone used to last the whole day easily, however after a full night's charge it's now on 39% at 11:56am! All I've done is very minimal browsing. Battery app says most of the charge is being used on the screen.

Install better battery stats that'll give you a better idea of what is actually using your battery, it's probably an app misbehaving that's stopping your phone from deep sleeping.

I found that Google Play Music was hogging my Battery (and Data) by constantly Caching music! Down to 50% by Lunch time!

I've now turned that function off, and My Battery is now more stable. Down to 70% by Lunch time! :)
